An die Musik LIVE! proudly presents Ars Nova 21: The Music of Robert A. Baker, Jerry Tabor and Keith Kramer. This exciting program of world premieres will feature performances by the Azimuth Quartet, the Salisbury University Guitar Ensemble, David LaVorgna, Joseph Satava and Jessica Hanel Satava. Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at 8 P.M. Admission is free ($15 donation suggested). Featured on the program are Keith Kramer's new works Insurmountable for flute and piano and Cathartic for voice, flute, piano and string quartet. Additional highlights include new works by Robert Baker, including a string quartet and a solo piano work, and a new work by Jerry Tabor for guitar ensemble. An die Musik LIVE! The directions to An die Musik are: from I-95 in Maryland, take I-395 N via exit 53 toward downtown. I-395 N becomes S Howard St. Then turn right onto W Mulberry St./US-40 E. and then take a left onto N Charles St. Charles Street is the main corridor running through Baltimore City, separating the east side of town from the west. Baltimore Street separates north from south. An die Musik is 4 blocks north of Baltimore Street. An Die Musik is seven blocks north from Harborplace and two blocks south of the Washington Monument, The Peabody Institute of Music and The Walters Art Gallery. There is metered parking on the street. No charge after 6pm or on Sunday. A pay parking lot is around the corner from us. Make a left on Franklin St. An Die Musik faces the back entrance to the Cathedral of the Assumption. The front of the Cathedral faces the Enoch Pratt Free Library.

This exciting program features music by Keith Kramer, Henry Cowell and Olivier Messiaen. Premiered will be Keith Kramer's work Insurmountable for flute and piano. Performers include David Lavorgna, Joseph Satava and Lura Johnson. Loyola University Recital Room in Baltimore, Maryland.




Keith's latest release is the exciting new orchestral work Emerge, performed by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, led by Kirk Trevor. It can be found on the Navona release Mementos, and is available through the Navona Records website, Amazon.com and iTunes.
