
A presentation of original and collaborative works, Sound in Motion IV: Available is an exciting ongoing interaction between the Baltimore Composers Forum and local dancers and choreographers. This year's dramatic synthesis of dance and music will feature music by composers Garth Baxter, Jin-Hwa Choi, Ljiljana Jovanovic, Keith Kramer, Vivian Adelberg Rudow, Ariyo Shahry and George Spicka, and choreography by Lynne Price with the dancers from Effervescent Collective. The projects range from solo and ensemble pieces to works incorporating spoken word, electronic sound and jazz elements. David LaVorgna and Joseph Satava will be performing Keith's flute and piano work Insurmountable at the Pacific Northwest Regional Conference of The College Music Society at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 4 PM in Haddock Performance Hall at the Lionel Hampton School of Music.
David LaVorgna will be performing Keith's solo flute composition Crystalline at the Northeast Regional Conference of The College Music Society at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania on March 18, 2011 at 8 PM at the Williams Center Concert Hall.
The Baltimore Composers forum presents an evening of new works for voice. Guest artists Megan Ihnen, mezzo-soprano, and Jason Buckwalter, baritone, along with pianist Andrew Stewart will perform the music of Garth Baxter, John Belkot, Ray Jozwiak, Ljiljana Jovanovic, Keith Kramer, and George Spicka. Judah Adashi, Peabody Institute faculty member and director of the Evolution Contemporary Music Series, will lead a discussion with the artists before the concert. The evening will conclude with a wine reception.

Beyond Sonic Boundaries: The Music of Keith Kramer is a special event that features recent music by Keith Kramer, performed by the Beyond Sonic Boundaries Orchestra. The performance will be presented at Merkin Hall in New York on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at 8:00 P.M. A wonderfully diverse program featuring some of the best musicians in the region, this engaging concert provides a vehicle for the performers to display their versatility and virtuosity. A very special performance will be of the intriguing work In Double Quadruplicate, written specifically for the incredible talents of the Beyond Sonic Boundaries Orchestra. Other compositions range from the introspective Cathartic for voice, flute, piano and string quartet, to the highly dynamic and energetic Indelible for violoncello solo and string quartet. Other features of the program include the intricately polyphonic dialog between the flute and piano in the piece Insurmountable, and the equally demanding works for soprano saxophone and bass trombone, Light and The end is an infinite beginning...
